Department of Safety Engineering and Technical Systems
Department employees conduct research:
- comprehensive assessment of the level of work safety and assessment of the material work environment,
- technical safety assessment of machines and devices,
- modeling of energy processes and their technical and economic analysis,
- reengineering of processes taking into account the importance of decision variables assigned to the set construction and operational parameters,
- innovative technologies for the use of renewable energy sources, including renewable fuels, process waste heat and cogeneration systems,
- assessment of technologies in terms of compliance with BAT, their negative impact on the environment and the development of methods for their reduction.
